Good breakfast and lunch, excellent service

My second amazing food experience in this historic building on Old Hwy 64. I have been dreaming about their homemade food. I tried something different today. The Food, Service, and Prices make me weep woth joy; except I am so full 💖. Today was Shrimp & Fish Basket, appetizers Guacamole. Possom Poe to go.

Wonderful place to eat for the whole family! You are made to feel welcome if you are eating alone or part of a crowd. Usually a wait on Sundays after church. Great food from breakfast to dinner. Burgers and deli sandwiches(generous portions of corned beef) to Mexican and Salvadoran specialties. Chips and salsa(made fresh daily). Daily specials. Kids menu. Coffee is wonderful. Nothing fancy though. You can bring hour favorite(non alcoholic please) add in like I do. Variety of hot sauces! Salads and pies but no fresh fruit.

I have no clue! We were turned away at the door because we didn't have masks on! There was a family sitting at a table eating without masks on. So apparently you have to wear a mask to come in and take it off to eat! That absolutely makes no sense! Ridiculous!

People are sweet and service is great...food has always been awesome. Just don't be in there when they have a large party because you need a coat...it was so cold my food got cold before I could even eat it.

I like this place. Friendly people, plenty of food. Personally we would rather go to the quaint restaurant's like this one rather the bigger one's or the chain store type. We live in Russellville with every kind of place here but would rather go to Adkins to Jose's

had a really nice time at this restaurant! we were with a big party and the woman who was our waitress did really well! the food was yummy, my steak was cooked perfectly! would eat here and again and will enjoy trying out the new restaurant in Russellville if we are still around at that time!

Love the food. Enjoy going there. Good menu selection. I recommend the carne asada with rice and beans.

Its ok for the only true restaurant in town. Cash or check only. Service is slow, and they seem to have a high turnover of wait staff. The complimentary chips and salsa would be a nice touch if the salsa had any flavor, basically just diced tomatoes in a pretty bowl.

I was just telling my husband that this is the type of place you hope to find when you're out of town. The owner came from a deli in NY - he uses the best quality products and doesn't skimp on portions. Super friendly staff and welcoming dining area.

While I enjoy the food here, this is an extremely home style food restaurant. Like anything made with fresh tomatoes, their salsa begs for tomato season. Their Mexican food is more texmex. Good, but texmex.

Great place for breakfast. They say that the steaks are good Friday nights. Haven't tried yet.

Delicious hot corned beef and pastrami. The only thing I can think of that I would have also enjoyed, had it been offered as a option, would be some sauerkraut. The coleslaw was alright, but I say that about anyone's coleslaw I have tasted. I always think my coleslaw tastes better. It was good.

This is a very nice restaurant. It is clean, clutter free. The staff are polite, friendly and well versed in the menu. This is how a small restaurant should be. The food was delicious. Will definitely be going there again.

The wife and I stopped in for lunch on a Monday at 1130 AM. I had a tasty Reuben sandwich with fries and coleslaw on the side. Highly recommended if you like a good Reuben. The service was friendly and fast, and the food was great. What more could you want?Highly recommended if you are in the area.

It's okay like the food was good I got a Reuben but the people kept looking at me like I was a freak which maybe I am but like if the food was better they would of been looking at it instead of me

Always good food in a nice retro environment. There has been a restaurant in this location for nearly one hundred years. Food choices are varied from American to Mexican and great steaks. Good friendly service.

From the outside Jose's did not look that inviting, however it turned out to be well worth the stop. We ordered tacos and chicken enchiladas. Our food was authentic and delicious. The portions were really big so we ended up taking it with us for later. Our waitress was excellent. The restaurant was large, very deep with one long brick wall. It was decorated by two very large mural size paintings that were quite pretty with many charming details. Unfortunately I forgot the name of the artist.

Great food, excellent service and a good value, what else can we want. All of the ingredients tasted fresh and full of flavor, and the dining area was clean. Access in and out was easy, and parking was sufficient. Thanks and we’ll be back.

The fact that it's cash only makes it slightly less enjoyable to eat at because it means we can't always go, but my wife and I love this place! Their fries are super unique and cooked fresh every time, the fish and shrimp basket is surprisingly incredible, and their specials have been delicious every time we've gone! Prices are great and staff is very friendly!

Not bad at all. Just odd. It is like an old style diner where the cook does what they want and you eat the food you are served. Two of our four orders were prepared wrong and to add to it we were upcharged for the error. Note also. Cash or check only. Prices were care and the special was a deal, had it been prepared correctly

I usually get a great meat here. That said the last two visits I was disappointed. Went for fish on Friday and the catfish was way under cooked. Still opaque not flakey at all. I'll go back just won't be in a hurry.
